Caring for Your Invisalign Aligners

Taking care of your clear aligners is a fairly simple and intuitive process. You must remove your Invisalign trays whenever you eat or drink anything other than water. Make sure to brush your teeth after eating to avoid trapping food in the tray, as it could affect the color and odor of your aligners.

Remember to rinse your aligners before placing them back onto your teeth, and brush the plastic tray at least once a day using a soft toothbrush and clear antibacterial soap to avoid scratching or staining the plastic.

When you remove your trays, keep them in a case to avoid them getting lost or accidentally thrown away. If you do lose your teeth aligners, continue to wear your previous set and contact our dentist so we can provide a replacement for you.
